Monetization
EXO is made by a small team, and the server costs money every month. Everything purchasable exists for that. No purchase gives an advantage over another player — below is exactly what that means.
No pay-to-win
No item grants gear, money, armour or progress. A player with a slot and a player without one play the same game.
Nothing is locked
Every mechanic, map, mission and event is available to everyone. Paid-only content does not exist.
Bohemia compliant
We follow the Arma Reforger monetization rules. If they change and something is no longer allowed, we pull it from the shop.
What we will never sell
The rule is simple: if a purchase has the slightest chance of granting an edge in combat or the economy, we do not sell it. This is not a list for today, it is a line we will not cross.
- Weapons, magazines, optics and ammunition
- Vehicles that are faster, tougher or roomier than usual
- Armour, helmets and anything that absorbs damage
- Camouflage that reduces visibility
- Loot, supply crates and inventory expansions
- XP boosts and level skips
- Cases, random rewards and gacha
- Closed maps, zones or paying-players-only servers
What this covers
This policy applies to everything paid on EXO servers. Right now that is one item — the priority slot. Cosmetics will follow: weapon skins, clothing, base flags, vehicle paint, chat name colour.
The list may change: things get added, things get retired. The line in the previous block does not move.
The priority slot
The slot affects exactly one thing: how quickly you get onto a full server. It does not skip the queue outright and never kicks anyone — it puts you first among those waiting for a freed place.
Inside the game the slot gives nothing. Same items, same money, same armour and the same raid rules as a player who paid nothing.
We know convenience is a value too. So here it is plainly: you pay for waiting time, not for the game.
Cosmetics
A skin changes how a weapon looks. That is it: damage, recoil, spread and sound stay the same. Clothing likewise — no hitbox change, no AI visibility change, no camouflage.
Cosmetics stay within the setting: no pink rifles, no neon. Some items will be limited-run or tied to events.
Flags, banners and paint
A flag on your base or a pattern on your truck is a way to leave a mark on the world without changing the rules for anyone else. Structure durability and vehicle stats do not depend on it.
All player-made content is reviewed by admins. We will reject anything offensive or disruptive.
Payments
Payments are not connected yet — we are choosing a provider.
Once one is in place, a third-party platform will process payments and we will not store card details. Terms will be updated on this page.
Abuse
Bypassing payment, duplicating or reselling purchases means a permanent ban with no warning. That includes third-party services trading EXO slots and items.
A purchased slot does not protect you from punishment. If you are banned for cheating, the slot will not prevent the ban.
