Territory & flag
A territory is the zone around your flag where you can build, store vehicles in the virtual garage and set PIN codes. Without a flag you cannot build anywhere.
Getting a flag
Flags are bought from the tools trader. The price depends on the level:
| Level | Price | Radius | Build limit | Garage slots |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flag I | 100,000 $ | 20 m | 40 | 3 |
| Flag II | 500,000 $ | 30 m | 70 | 6 |
| Flag III | 1,000,000 $ | 50 m | 100 | 10 |
A level 1 flag occasionally turns up inside mission buildings — the higher the mission tier, the better the odds. Level 2 and 3 flags can only be bought.
Flags cannot be crafted.
Placing it
- Put the flag kit in your inventory and enter build mode — the Insert key.
- Select the flag, find a spot and confirm. You can place it up to 5 metres away from you.
- Upkeep is paid automatically for the first 7 days.
One player can own only one territory. If you are already a member of someone else's base, you cannot place your own flag — leave that base first.
Where you cannot place it
- Within 100 metres of the trade zone.
- Within 100 metres of another flag.
- Inside a spawn zone and 100 metres around it.
There is no restriction on distance to roads — but see the tip below.
Upgrading
There is no separate upgrade fee — you buy the flag kit of the next level and use "Upgrade flag" on your own flag. The kit is consumed.
Only the owner can upgrade. You cannot upgrade while upkeep is unpaid or while the flag is stolen. Upgrading increases the radius, and the game re-checks distances to other bases and the trade zone — if the new radius overlaps something, the upgrade fails.
The maximum level is 3.
Base members
A territory holds up to 10 players including the owner. Invitations are sent from the F2 menu → "Territory" tab and last 5 minutes.
A member can build and dismantle structures, set and remove PIN codes, pay upkeep and use the garage. Only the owner can upgrade the flag, invite and remove members, or disband the base.
The owner cannot simply leave their own base — only disband it. Disbanding deletes every structure and the flag.
Dismantling structures
A structure can be turned back into a kit with the "Dismantle" action from up to 5.5 metres. Conditions:
- Regular structures only dismantle in build mode (Insert). Safes and workbenches — any time.
- The object must have no PIN code — remove it first.
- The object must be undamaged: repair it first.
- Safes, workbenches and decor can only be picked up empty — no items, no cash inside.
- You cannot dismantle in combat or with C4 attached.
The flag itself cannot be dismantled. The only way to remove a base is to disband it from the F2 menu.
