The workbench is the only place that makes building kits and C4.
Getting one
Bought from the tools trader for 16,000 $. It occasionally drops as building loot.
A workbench is placed like any structure inside your own territory and takes a slot against the build limit. It holds up to 100 kg of items.
You can only pick it back up when it is empty, undamaged and has no PIN code.
Crafting
Stand within 3.5 metres of the workbench and open the menu. Categories: All, Building, Raid.
There is a one second pause between craft presses. The working sound carries 18 metres.
Where materials come from

| Logs and planks | Axe and saw. Chop a tree, saw the log into planks. Never found as loot |
| Nails | Only in Construction Supplies mission crates. Not in houses, not from the saw |
| Concrete, sand | Building loot, civilian and military |
| Wires, duct tape, phone, circuit boards | Building loot |
| Plastic explosive | Military buildings only and mission crates |
What cannot be crafted
Territory flags, safes and the workbench itself are not craftable — trader or loot only.
Code locks, crowbars and grinders are not craftable either.
