Player market

Updated 12 September 20264 min read

The market is a shelf stocked by the players themselves. Anything a trader does not carry, or that rarely drops as loot, is found here: gear, attachments, vehicles. Trader stock changes over time, so the market complements them rather than replacing them.

The market opens at any trader in the trade zone: the Market action sits second in the list, after trading itself.

Listing an item#

The Sell tab shows your inventory. Pick an item, set a price per unit, and the lot appears in the shared list.

The item leaves your inventory immediately, together with every attachment and the rounds in its magazine. A buyer gets exactly what the lot picture shows: an optic you removed beforehand stays with you instead of riding along with the rifle.

Rule Value
Active lots per player 20
Listing fee 3 %
Sale fee 5 %
Lot lifetime 7 days

The listing fee is charged up front and is not refunded if the lot never sells.

Buying#

The Market tab has name search, categories and sorting by price or age.

There is also a "Fits my weapons" filter. A green line under an item names which of your guns it fits — this covers optics and attachments as well as magazines.

Purchases are paid from your bank. What you buy lands in storage and is collected right there at the trader; it does not jump into your inventory on its own.

If a lot holds several identical items you can take part of it: buying opens a quantity field, and the remainder stays on the seller's shelf.

Storage#

Everything the market hands back goes through storage:

  • items you bought;
  • lots you cancelled;
  • lots whose seven days ran out.

Storage is a transit point, not a warehouse:

  • records live for 3 days, then burn along with their contents;
  • it holds 50 records; while storage is full a purchase is refused and an expired lot stays on the market until you clear the backlog.

Payouts#

Money for a sold lot goes to your bank. If the bank is at its limit, or you were offline, the remainder accumulates and is handed over the next time you open the market: bank first, and whatever does not fit arrives as cash.

There is nothing to claim and no button: the server pays out on its own while you stand at the trader.

What the server lists itself#

Besides players, the server trades too. It has two sources:

  • gear from corpses: if a dead player's body lies untouched for 30 minutes, up to 6 of its most valuable items go on sale. AI corpses and items dropped on the ground are not included;
  • vehicles abandoned in the trade zone: a vehicle parked there for an hour is put up for sale with an empty cargo instead of being deleted.

A server lot costs half the shop price, but never less than the average of player trades over the past week. What can appear is set by a list: weapons, attachments, optics, vests, helmets, backpacks, construction, tools. Ammo, magazines, grenades, medical supplies, uniforms and trinkets never reach the shelf.

Vehicles#

Vehicles can be listed too, under stricter conditions:

  • you are within 30 metres of it;
  • nobody is inside;
  • the cargo is empty;
  • you have access — the lock code, or you were the last driver.

A sold vehicle goes into the buyer's storage and is spawned when they collect it.
