All traders stand in one trading village. It is the only place on the map where you cannot kill and cannot be killed.
Who sells what
| Trader | Goods |
|---|---|
| Weapons | guns, ammo, magazines, attachments, grenades, mines |
| Medic | medkits, bandages, morphine + paid healing |
| Clothing | uniforms, helmets, armour, vests, backpacks |
| Tools | axe, saw, code lock, safe, workbench, territory flags |
| Vehicles | everything that drives and flies |
| Banker | cash deposits and withdrawals |
Each one only takes its own category: trying to sell a rifle to the medic goes nowhere.
The trade action appears from 20 metres. You can buy up to 999 units at once; vehicles only one at a time.
The safe zone
The radius is 300 metres around the traders.
- Damage does not apply at all, in either direction. You cannot be killed, and you cannot kill anyone — including shooting from inside the zone outwards.
- Weapons are holstered automatically. The only thing you may hold is a map.
- The traders themselves are invulnerable.
- Structures and vehicles inside the zone are protected from damage too.
The only thing that still works inside is the suicide button.
Territory flags cannot be placed within 100 metres of the trade zone.
Healing at the medic
A full heal costs 10,000 $. The action works from 6 metres and only if you are actually injured.
What you cannot sell
- Items not in the trader's catalogue. Crafted kits, C4, grinders and crowbars have no buyer.
- Non-empty containers. A backpack or vest with items inside is refused — the button reads "NOT EMPTY".
- Vehicles further than 50 metres from the trader, plus other people's and mission vehicles.
- Only weapons and simple items sell in stacks. Backpacks, vests and vehicles go one at a time.
