Selling loot

Selling is the main way to turn what you find into money.
What you get
| What you sell | Share of the buy price |
|---|---|
| Items | 20 % |
| Vehicles | 25 % |
So a 12,000 $ rifle sells for 2,400 $, and a 30,000 $ UAZ for 7,500 $.
Where to take it
Each trader only accepts their own category. Rifles to the weapons trader, bandages to the medic, helmets to clothing. The wrong trader simply will not buy.
What cannot be sold
- Items outside the catalogue. Whatever a trader does not sell, they do not buy: C4, grinders, crowbars, crafted kits, materials.
- Non-empty containers. A backpack or vest with items inside is refused — empty it first.
- Stacks only work for weapons and simple items. Backpacks, vests and vehicles go one at a time.
Selling vehicles
The vehicle must be within 50 metres of the trader, empty, with empty cargo.
You cannot sell someone else's vehicle — you must own it or know the lock code. Mission vehicles cannot be sold at all.
Strictly one at a time.
Cash limit
You can carry up to 10,000,000 $. If a sale would push you over, it is refused — but the item is not lost, just bank some money first.
