Spawning

Updated 29 July 20262 min read

The spawn menu opens on your first join and after every death. If your character is alive you simply return where you logged out, with all your gear.

Spawn points

The menu has four slots: three map zones and your base.

Zone Where
Pierre north-east of the map
Lamentin west
Phillipe south

Spawns are rings, not points

You do not appear in the middle of town but on its approaches: the server picks a random point in a ring around the zone centre — from 100–150 metres out to 300–400 depending on the zone.

Your character faces the centre of the zone so the direction is obvious.

This is deliberate: the town centre stays clear and you never land in a crowd.

The server rejects bad spots: in water, under a roof, in a tree, within 10 metres of living players or AI, or inside someone else's territory.

Base spawn

Available if you own a territory or are a member of one, and upkeep is paid.

  • Cooldown is 15 minutes, counted from a successful spawn.
  • The cooldown survives relogging and server restarts — there is no way around it.
  • While it runs the slot is disabled and shows the remaining time.

You appear not inside the base but in a ring 100–130 metres from the flag, from a different side each time, facing the base. No players or AI may be within 20 metres.

No building in spawn zones

A territory flag will not place if its radius touches a spawn zone plus 100 metres of padding. Spawn towns cannot be built over.

Quad bike

A personal quad bike is handed out for free from the F2 menu → "Server info". There is no cooldown, but you only get one: spawning a new one deletes the old.

The quad disappears when you log out and does not survive a restart. It cannot be spawned inside someone else's territory.
